Information Extraction from Conference Domain
The overall aim of our work is to improve creation and maintenance of information and delivery in conference domain by introducing semantic technologies to this domain. First of all, the weak point and its reason are analyzed for keyword based search engine. Hence Semantic Web and its applications in intelligent retrieval domains are introduced. Semantic Web is driving the evolution of the current Web by enabling users to find, share, and combine information more easily making it possible for the web to understand and satisfy the requests of user .A recent trend in semantic web are exchange the knowledge in meaningful way for organizations. Major challenge for the semantic web applications are modeling of ontology and is based on retrieval . In this paper, We focused about Protégé tool and an architecture based on the tool and its addressing issues are presented. An easy to use the ontology modeling tool Protégé and it is deployed and convenient mechanism to create and edit ontology. Finally the tool and architecture are demonstrated in conference domain system which is based on conference ontology. Search activities carried out by system and meaningful results are extracted and performances are evaluated.
