To Groove a Location – In Mobile Phone

P. Venkat Raman, K. Ragunathan

Abstract

Mobile security has a vital role to play in this world. In the mobile security, mobile tracker is an important session. By using mobile tracker, we can able to find the location of the theft mobile by utilizing service provider‟s service. In the above specified method, mobile number and IMEI number only be identified. But the tower is not identified or located. In my research, I propose a system to find a „Tower Range‟ in the combination of GPS security and cell information display. By using GPS security, latitude and longitude range of a tower is traced approximately. Using the traced range information, name of the tower is retrieved from cell information display. The mobile number, IMEI number, tower range, location of an misused user SIM will be send as an SMS to a registered number.

Keywords

GPS – Global Positioning System, IMEI – International Mobile Equipment Identity, Mobile Tracker, SIM – Subscriber Identity Module, SMS – Short Message Service.
