Abstract

Video surveillance is a popular consumer application. In this paper IP camera is employed for surveillance, and which unlike analog Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, video streams from cameras are sent to the smart phone. This is incredibly convenient and easy-to-use application. In addition with previous work of smart phone surveillance motion detection technology is added to identify the intruder. It is comparatively efficient and increase mobility. Motion Detector is an amazing app that turns the phone into a surveillance device with motion detection. Using the IP camera, Motion Detector Pro has the ability to detect the slightest of movements happening in the phone’s range of vision. If, at all, there’s an intruder, the application will immediately alert you with an email or text message and there is a new app for transferring image from mobile to pc and vice versa using this app it provide the facility to store data in system itself and the app will help for identifying the intruder is known or unknown person. Once the image of the intruder is captured using data transmission app the image can be transferred to the system. Video surveillance using smart phone also help to classify the moving object is a person or an object.
