Internet of Things Enabled Technologies

Amulya Amulya, Rajeev Ranjan

Abstract

IoT is defined as: “A network of physical or virtual objects that can interact with each other to share information”.  The meaning of objects is not only the devices or embedded system, but also the different networks and technologies that work together with Internet to achieve a goal. There are mainly five technologies that work with IoT, i.e., Radio frequency Identification system (RFID), Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), Data mining, Cloud Computing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). In this paper, we present the survey of such IoT enabling technologies in short.
