Survey on Bio-Informatics Tools and its Applications

S. Hadjiefthymiades

Abstract

Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary discipline dedicated to developing methods and software tools for understanding biological data. Bioinformatics, an interdisciplinary field of science, combines biology, computer science, information engineering, mathematics, and statistics to analyze and interpret biological data. Bioinformatics is not only a general term for biological research that uses computer programming as part of its methodology, it is also a reference to a specific analytical "pipeline" that is used repeatedly, especially in the field of genomics. The main purpose of this study is to use two types of bacteria. These bacterial cultures are isolated to generate DNA sequences and further build phylogenetic trees.
