Automatic Attendance Monitoring and Power Management System using RFID

N. Krishnapriya, P. Kiruthika

Abstract

Our aim of this project is to monitor the attendance and power management of the classrooms in the colleges/schools. In this design we use IR sensor to maintain the attendance and power management. RFID Card is used as Student ID card. RFID reader reads the radio frequency from the RFID Card so that the database of the corresponding person will be automatically entered into the Microcontroller. The safety of the power management is increased by utilizing power driver switching. The class room unit displays the strength of the class room and also control the lights should not be switched on without anyone in the class room. A master controller displays all the class rooms status and saves it in database.
