A Night Surveillance System for Forest Activity Survey using Thermal Imaging

C.R. Lakshmi, P. Sathiya

Abstract

In this paper a survey on night activity of forest during night from thermal infrared imagery is proposed; Birds, Animals, hiding terrorist movement can be easily detected from the background regardless of lighting conditions and colors of the pattern of reference. In this study storks image .A group of people’s and cats thermal image are mainly used. This work will make night surveillance a much easier task. The survey on density of animal’s and bird’s during night time becomes much more easier task. The tracking of people hiding in forest is very important since often common people are targeted unknowingly. This work consists of various preprocessing steps segmentation, separation of individual features. As further process matching algorithm which will help in preprocessing and density calculation is proposed.
