2D Image Analysis Using Dyadic and Nonuniform Oversampled Fir Filter Bank

S.R. Chougule, Dr.R.S. Patil

Abstract

In this paper proposed a real valued nonuniform oversampled three channels FIR filter bank for 2-dimensional image analysis is carried out. Also Comparison of Two-level Symmetric Dyadic Filter Bank is used for 2-D image analysis results with proposed filter bank. Comparison is carried out using PSNR in dB, histogram, edge detection, energy preservation and entropy of output image. The proposed filterbank consists of three channels which are subsampled by different subsampling factor i.e. Nonuniform. Two-Level Symmetric Dyadic filter bank results and three channel oversampled filter bank results, shows output near perfect reconstruction of input image.
