Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Manish Duhan, Dr. Abid Haleem

Abstract

Productivity enhancement had been an important concern for managers over decades. A brief about productivity has been presented to enhance the understanding of various issues involved in enhancement of productivity. Mining of factors to enhance productivity in manufacturing sector has been carried out from review of literature from: various international and national journals and conferences; and websites. Better understanding of these factors important to enhance productivity may lead to sustain in globalized business scenario. This paper has been an attempt to help production managers to manage production activities effectively for gaining competitive advantage and enhanced profitability.
