TORA and AODV Based Broadcasting in Mobile Ad hoc Networks

V. Sivakumar, J. Preethi

Abstract

Broadcasting is a process of sending message from one node to all other nodes in the network. In most of the existing protocols high memory consumption, route discovery and route maintenance is to be difficult. In this paper we propose the concept of TORA (Temporally-Ordered Routing Algorithm routing protocol) with AODV (Ad-hoc On-Demand Distance Vector protocol). The main objective of our approach for efficient broadcasting, to reduce memory requirements, discover the route easily and maintenance, quickly re-establish when the link fails
