P. SasiKiran, T. GowriManohar, S. KoteswaraRao

Abstract

Electricity is one of the important essential for the development of country and also for the mankind. Power quality is related to the frequency and amplitude of the voltage sinusoid and it describes how are these are near to the perfectness. Kalman filter is used for analysis of power quality. In this paper, Kalman filter is used to estimate distortions in voltage and harmonics generated due to power fluctuations. Simulation is carried out using MATLAB.
