Dr. A. Bhuvaneshwari, Ponnumani Gurusamy

Abstract

CAPTCHA [Completely Automated Public Turing Test to Tell Computer and Human Apart] is based on Turing test, which aims to protect internet service from automatic script attack and spam. Automatic scripts and bots have been established to create free accounts, send spam, crack in online games, and online vote remotely. CAPTCHA is a type of response test used in web computing as an attempt to ensure that a response is created by human beings. Current Captcha implementation which are text based, image based and audio based have been reported to be breached and not suitable for the mobile devices. This project proposes a novel context based Captcha which is suitable for mobile devices.
