Abstract

With ever advancing technology in today’s world, a human being’s convenience is top priority in any given field. With an increasing convenience there is an increasing chance of mishaps to occur. One of the main changes which is observed is an increase in online shopping over conventional orthodox shopping. Everything on this planet can be acquired in a very simple way just by a few clicks on our smartphones. This raises a question regarding the safety of package that is to be procured, additional measures have to be taken to prevent it from theft or any other unforeseen circumstance. Keeping in mind the current global situation due to the Covid- 19 pandemic we also have to be extra careful about hygiene. Considering all these factors we have come up with a solution called the contactless delivery box implemented using IOT, which will ensure cleanliness and safety of the package with minimal human intervention.
