Observer Based Control of Field Oriented Control of Induction Motor Drive with Unknown Parameters

Suchithra Ravikumar

Abstract

This paper is based on developing field orientation control for induction motor for this machine model is developed .The field orientation control is done with referring to various reference frames. The main objective of this paper is to control the speed and torque of induction motor drive with poorly known motor parameter and the torque and flux are controlled as in separately excited DC machine. An adaptive observer-based control is proposed in this paper that provides robust regulation and accurate estimation of the electrical parameters that. This project is based on various criteria including basic control characteristics, step response and dynamic performance. This paper is done by simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK.
