Design & Development of a GSM Based Vehicle Theft Control and Accident Intimation System

K. Sai Kumar, Tota. Srinivas

Abstract

This paper deals to existence for the Anti Theft control system for vehicles and also their accident intimations. Here in this paper is using the modules like GPS, GSM, switches, accident circuit. The main advantage of using this system is to find out theft vehicle easily and with the least amount of time. An interfacing mobile is also connected to the system, which is in turn, connected to the engine. Then it is going to check whether ignition switch is ON/OFF. If it is ON then motor will be moving in forward direction. If it is OFF then motors will be in stop condition. If you found that your vehicle is lost then send a simple SMS from your mobile to BLOCK, TRACK and have to retrieve your vehicle through SMS from your mobile phone. It will check whether this number is correct or wrong. If it is correct Number from where it has got SMS it is going to process the thing otherwise it is not going to process. first to block the vehicle you need to send SMS “BLOCK” then your vehicle is blocked it is not going to ON your vehicle tough it is ON/OFF and then it is going to send you SMS from the modem which your connected to system in your vehicle.. Then send “TRACK” it is track your vehicle using GPS through UART1 (GPS is initialized and longitude and latitude values are fetched from it) and then it is going to send you SMS from the modem which your connected to system in your vehicle. After tracking you know the position of your vehicle to collect your vehicle you need to have authentication process of password so SMS you need to send is “PASSWORD” then through switches enter the password and if it is correct then your vehicle will start and you will have an SMS. The chances are limited for 3 times if it exceeds then it is not going to start your vehicle but send you a SMS that someone else is trying to start your vehicle. If the vehicle met with an accident it is going to intimate the controller the location of accident (GPS) by sending an SMS using GSM mobile.
