Abstract

With the advent of technology, input output resources and high speed networks the manual examination systems of Education field is now replaced by the online examination systems or cloud based online examination systems. Till date, the common problem in manual examination system of assigning tests and evaluating their scores was time consuming and monotonous. This process raises several disadvantages like discrepancy in calculating the scores and displaying the grades of students. These problems of manual examination system can be overcome by cloud based Online Examination System. The literature survey in this domain states that such kind of systems are designed using the technologies like –M-learning algorithm and its Android application, Automatic correction and optimization of MCQ test answer sheets and the usage of smart adaptive algorithms etc. This paper summarizes various tools and algorithms that are used to design and implement online examination system.
