Service Oriented Information Integration Architecture for Credit Scoring System

C. Punitha Devi, Dr.V. Prasanna Venketesan

Abstract

Never has accurate, timely business intelligence been more critical for financial institutions. In this era of increased competition, banks need good information to enhance efficiency and productivity. They also need a clear understanding of their customers and markets to make the most of new opportunities. Such timely analytics and actionable business insights are significant for effective financial accounting, cost controlling, credit risk management, asset liability management, and profitability analysis. Credit scoring has become very important issue due to the recent growth of the credit industry, so the credit department of the bank faces a large amount of credit data. This paper takes into account the credit scoring system and gives a service oriented information integration model using for solving the issues of the credit scoring problem, thereby leading to automation of this credit scoring system. Many organizations regard SOA as an architecture that enables business agility through the use of common services. Service Oriented Integration conceptualizes an approach for integration with SOA as its basic requirement. The proposed architecture presented in this paper address Data virtualization, Information as service and service oriented integration to solve the requirements of accessing heterogeneous and distributed data across various data sources and applications.
