Patenting in India: An Intellectual Property Right Based Software Life Cycle

Abstract


The time has come to describe the phases of the software patenting process in such a manner that they become recognizable for the all software professionals. This research gives insight on IPR base d software patent law in India. It is on Patent Life Cycle for software and how the patent holder act on infringement of its patent and how to generate patentable knowledge and develop innovative ideas. The study also analyzed the suitability of patent system required in India, to encourage the intellectual property creation activities of all innovators as currently such activities in India appear to be very poor as compared to other developing countries.
