Impact of Junk Food Habits among Youths in the Society

Abstract


Junk foods are the fast food easy to consume. Michael Jacobson phrase the meaning of junk food in 1972 is useless or low nutritional value. Junk food so called HFSS (High fat, sugar or salt). Cool-drinks, pizza, burger, and sandwich are the different types of junk food that available in restaurants. The number of fast food restaurant is enhancing because people around the world like to eat junk food USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Japan, Sweden etc. are the countries around the world consumes the junk food. Junk food is more popular because it has more taste, better shelf life and easy moving. The advertisement of junk foods makes more popularity of its own. But it should be omitted, because of low energy, high cholesterol. It is more dangerous and causes a lot of harmful effect on the body like obesity, diabetes, heart disease and various types of skin cancers. Decreasing the hype of the junk food and increasing the fitness knowledge between the people, then it is easy to avoid the junk foods.
