Abstract

The connection between all the physical objects to the internet through a network router and exchanging data between them is known as IoT. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of embedded devices and sensors which can be connected and exchange information over the internet. IoT usually makes everything easy and smart by the aspects of data collection, AI algorithm and networks. It is a fact that IoT is so rich and influences virtually in all phases of our lives, which makes it a powerful research area for studies in several related fields like computer science and information technology. In today's generation, application development using internet is having very high demand. So, internet of things has become the vital technology to produce a various kind of useful applications over the internet. IoT is a brilliant technology which reduces the efforts of human and provides easy access to the physical devices. IoT invades in all directions of humans’ daily life virtually roaming from health care, to smart agriculture, smart living, to even smart cities and also from domestic life to industries. This paper highlights a brief overview of different trends in IoT technologies and its recent challenges and also about the future applications.
