SIP based QoS in Interoperable Heterogeneous Mobile Wireless Network

S. Kirubakaran, Dr.C. Manoharan

Abstract

Valuable communication are needed in disaster response and recovery for saving the life. However most modern public safety Land mobile radio networks provides less service availability ,less multimedia services, low data rates and high cost devices. We study to augment the interoperability of LMR with cellular networks, minimize the handoff delay and reduce the packet delay and loss. Our approach is based on SIP based mobility support architecture is used for reducing packet delay and loss while handoff between Land Mobile Radio network and Cellular.
