Robust Video Data Hiding Technique through Bit Stream Level Using Selective Embedding

A. Subi, N. Sivanesan

Abstract

This paper proposes the Bit stream level video data hiding technique using selective embedding and Cryptographic method. The bit stream level data hiding will be exploited redundancies with help of lossless compression standard and it is highly robustness compared to data level data hiding method. Discrete wavelet transform has a good localization property in the time domain and frequency domain, it analyze the details of any scale and frequency and it superior to Fourier transform and DCT. It has been widely applied and developed in image processing and compression. The wavelet will decompose the image into four frequency subbands namely LL, LH, HL and HH. These coefficients are then utilized in the encoder for removing the redundancies. The Selective embedding is utilized in this method to determine host signal samples suitable for data hiding. The RSA based cryptographic method will be used to increase the security level of secret data sharing. The Least significant bit replacement effectively used for data hiding process. This method proves that more secure technique for secret data communication with high quality factor. The simulation results indicate that the framework can be successfully utilized in video data hiding applications.
