Semi Trusted Third Party Using Dynamic Grid System for Location Based Services

Rupa Debnath, G. Senthil Velan

Abstract

Location-based services (LBS): it requires users to report their continuous movement location to the service provider to obtain services based on their location. It has possibility for exposing them to privacy risks. But this system can give secure and continuous location privacy that is guaranteed under my defined adversary models with a less cost. Dynamic Grid system (DGS), the query area gets determine by the querying user in Dynamic grid System that gets divided into equal sized grid cells. Query Server (QS) is nothing but a trusted third party will be placed in between the user and the service provider (SP) and my project is supporting an independent number of service providers (SP) that the database management system stores the data and information and the query of the user. Rijindeal Algorithm is used in this project for encryption and decryption of user’s request.
