Experimental Investigation and Analysis of a New Type Capillary Pumped Loop

S. Rajkumar, Dr.M. Chandrasekar

Abstract

Capillary pumped loop(CPL)is a versatile two phase heat transfer device which has recently gained increasing acceptance in space thermal control and electronic component cooling in modern electronics Using no moving parts the prototype units were designed, fabricated and successfully tested with excellent results. In this project work experimental analysis on hydrodynamic and thermodynamic theory of CPL has calculated and the results presented in this project have been validated by tests performed on a experimental version of the CPL.
