A Model to Address Challenges in Software Test Automation
Abstract
While Test Automation is the mantra of new day testing; it has also been an area which is not yet explored enough. Empowering Black Box Test Engineers to benefit from White Box test techniques, achieving higher automated test coverage and quicker certification cycles through automated test coverage remain critical challenges. Lack of a common automation platform, where different automation solutions can talk to each other and dependency on specific programming or scripting language - constrain the development of effective automation. This paper aims at arriving postulates for successful test automation in an Agile Model of software development.
