Stress and Performance Testing of Cloud Infrastructure
Abstract
Cloud computing provides various service models like Software as a Service, Platform as a Service and Infrastructure as a service. Cloud computing is a recent advance computing area that impacts several research fields, in which one of them is software testing. The development in cloud computing provides an opportunity to evaluate an application performance based on its nature. Computing resources and software services are accessed to users through the Internet as a computing model. In this paper, Load and Performance of cloud services are analyzed and tested by using developed own cloud infrastructure. An Automation testing tool is developed on Linux Operating System using Python script. Results have seen shown in the form of memory graph. We also discussed an overview regarding possible research directions.
